I know that you went through hell for singing what became the people’s anthem, and I’m sorry that you suffered. Please know that Iran is proud of you and so very grateful.

At the time, I was writing a piece on fear myself, so I was reading everything I could find on the topic. Naturally, I got your book and read it.
