Enid Blyton
Dear Enid:
You've been on my mind...
By the time I was born, you were already dead. In fact, the first time I read your writing was about a decade after your death, and it was translated into French because I lived in France. I don't remember how I met you, and I knew very little about you, but your books were my most treasured possession.
I read your books growing up, and I have kept reading ever since. Did you make me fall in love with reading with your wonderful books? It was my favorite activity forty-three years ago, and it is still my favorite pastime now.
Thank you for existing. Thank you for writing those books. Thank you for the wonderful stories of adventure. I am grateful to have met you through your writing.
Love...
Noosha Ravaghi
