Sisters & Brothers

Dear Sisters & Brothers in Iran: You've been on my mind... I may not know each of you personally, but, as someone who has lived in Iran under this regime, I understand your reasons for these protests and consider each one of you my sister or my brother. Thank you for standing up and protesting against injustice and for your rights as citizens of Iran.  You are strong and united... and you are winning. The regime is scared. They know they are done. You have scared this regime that has reigned over our beautiful country for forty-three years. YOU! I am so proud of you and I am so grateful for you.  The entire world - minus its corrupt people - is standing with you brave people. Stay strong. Stay united.  Respectfully... Noosha Ravaghi

Angry Man

Dear Angry Man: You've been on my mind... I don't know your name, so I'm calling you Angry Man because you rightfully are. Ever since I watched the video you posted, I've been replaying what you said in my mind. I must say that I agree with every sentence you uttered.  The video is in Farsi, so I will summarize the three-minute video, addressed to the Islamic Republic, in a few sentences:  You useless sons of bitches have done nothing in forty years but shit on our country. You deserve a gold medal for that because no other government has done more harm to any country than you have to ours. You've had forty years to learn something, anything, and, instead, you've spent this time killing people, stealing their assets, and sending your no-good offspring to other countries to enjoy their lives with people's money. I am grateful for you because you expressed all that I was feeling, and listening to you allowed me to finally exhale. Gratefully, Noosha Ravaghi
